How zebra shades work
Two fabrics, one smooth shade.
A zebra shade is made from a continuous loop of fabric with alternating sheer and solid stripes. Raise or lower it and the bands slide past one another.
Line the sheer bands up for soft, filtered daylight, or offset them so the solid bands overlap for privacy. It is a modern alternative to traditional horizontal blinds, without the slats to dust.
